How does CEAT support CSA certification?
As a C/CSA/US certified panel shop, CEAT handles:
- Panel design and component selection
- CSA testing procedures
- Compliance documentation
- Labeling and final inspection
- Digital document access and technical support
We support your certification journey from start to finish – so you don’t have to navigate it alone.
How long does the CSA certification process take?
Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the system, but CEAT’s experience with CSA standards allows us to streamline certification. Thanks to our in-house CSA Panel Shop capabilities, most certifications are completed quickly. While external site inspections can take weeks and add significant cost, our internal certification process helps clients avoid downtime, reduce expenses, and stay on schedule.
Can CEAT certify an existing panel?
In many cases, yes – but the panel must be brought to our facility. We can assess and retrofit existing panels to meet CSA standards, then complete all required testing and documentation for certification. On-site retrofits are not available due to certification requirements. Contact us to discuss bringing your panel in for evaluation.
What documentation is provided with CSA certification?
Each CSA-certified panel from CEAT includes:
- Electrical schematics
- Mechanical and wiring diagrams
- Component labels
- CSA label affixed to enclosure
- Photos and digital documentation package
- CSA certification checklist (available upon request)
All documents are stored digitally for 24/7 client access.
